Education is at the core of Manchester Camerata's work and our learning and participation programme provides creative and inspiring projects and workshops for all our communities and stakeholders. Each year over 300 activities take place across the North West with participants from all sections of the community, from nursery schools to retirement homes.
Each project adopts different approaches to suit the needs of our participants, and the talents of our members provides them with the means to realise their ideas across the spectrum of musical genres. Projects often involve other art forms such as dance, literature and visual art, and increasingly we are creating schools workshops that involve other curricular subjects, such as maths and science.
