Graham Fitkin has been involved in education projects from his earliest days as a composer. He has been given a PRS Composer in Education Award three times, has conducted teacher training INSET days with peripatetic teachers, led primary school workshops with upwards of 150 participants and led creative workshops with communities in South Africa.

Alongside his own performing ensemble, the Graham Fitkin Group, he has collaborated on projects with art and music, worked with school and college students on compositions leading to performances both before and as part of the Group's performance, and encouraged students to attend rehearsals. Fitkin has also worked for the spnm around the UK in composer led workshops and lecture demonstrations.
