The City of London Festival runs every year between mid-June and mid-July and organises education projects to complement the artistic themes.
Inspired by the theme of ‘Trading Places’ – introduced in 2003 to explore cultural links between the City and its trading partners around the world – education projects focus on creative networks, offering real opportunities for exchange and for creative and cultural development. Challenging boundaries between people of different cultural backgrounds and communities and between artforms (including contemporary and traditional styles), Trading Places offers some unique and quirky opportunities for individuals to work alongside artists whose own practice is at the cutting edge within their field.
