Amazing Colours offers a fresh round-up of some of the most tantalising, provoking and engaging new fiction that has been published between 2001 and 2003. As with its predecessor Eyes Wide Open, Amazing Colours has attempted to reveal the diverse range of new writing being produced in the UK, to highlight current trends and popular strands of contemporary fiction and also to explore new and emerging ideas and approaches to the writing of fiction.
This bibliography is divided up into six sections, which we hope will prove to be a useful navigation tool and help to make it user-friendly. The sections are:
- A Life Less Ordinary
- Families, Friendships and Flirtations
- It’s a Dark and Twisted World
- Historical Fiction
- A Sense of Place
- Literary Adventures
These sections are really just a guide and are certainly not meant to box-in any book to a particular theme.
Each entry offers a brief introduction to the book, giving an idea of the content, the style and major themes. All the titles were in print at the time of publication. The bibliographic details of the original hardback or paperback edition are given if still in print and also the subsequent paperback edition.
