EYPE AUTUMN ‘BOOK ‘N AUTHOR’ WEEKS LITERARY FESTIVAL 19 – 23 April 2010
The first of two annual Spring and Autumn intimate and informal Literary Festivals in a spectacular setting with a cornucopia of top national and local writers presenting their current titles with active audience participation, book sales and signing sessions. Mainly biographies and autobiographies but also historical novels, current affairs, travel and some light entertainment. April 2009 saw Irma Kurtz and Caroline Moorehead whilst the October 2009 event included Jonathan Stedall, Mary Lovell, Theodore Dalrymple, Virginia Ironside and Kate Adie amongst others.

Over 350 writers descended on Christ Church to talk, debate, and discuss ideas at the 2008 festival. And 2009 promises many more, including Peru’s foremost and most distinguished writer, Mario Vargas Llosa, The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, and eminent historian David Starkey.

An annual literature festival held in the spring in Cambridge and surrounding area. It aims to provide a richly packed weekend of some of the best in contemporary fiction, political debate, workshops and events for children. An international festival of contemporary poetry and text art that will consist of exhibitions, public art commissions, performances and workshops.
