T-Books
UK Fiction for Teenage Readers

This bibliography includes 100 recent teenage literature titles selected by David Kendall from the Reading Agency. Also included is a guide for librarians and teachers on how to use the titles. This bibliography has been specially produced for the Russian Animating Literature Seminar this Summer but will be of use to all those interested in encouraging teenagers to read.

With a introduction by Melvin Burgess, this bibliography is divided into five sections:

  • Wonder: a sense of amazement at the world
  • Laughter: this should make you smile
  • Trouble: life can be very strange
  • Fear: something or somebody is out to get you
  • Passion: the best thing in your life
