We are delighted to announce the programme for the Edinburgh Showcase 2011. From over 220 expressions of interest of a consistently high standard, we have invited 27 artists and companies to present their work as part of the Edinburgh Showcase 2011. There will be 24 performances and 3 installations from artists and companies, with 21 coming from England, 4 from Scotland and 2 from Wales. Almost 70% of the artists and companies selected will be participating in the Edinburgh Showcase for the first time. This year also sees the inclusion of 5 pieces of dance theatre.

Please visit our new Edinburgh Showcase 2011 website to find out more about the programme and watch short videos of the productions being presented as part of this year's Showcase. You can also follow us on Twitter @Edshowcase.
