To contextualise this selection we included covers from a wider range of designers including, New Order - Blue Monday, Frankie goes to Hollywood - Pleasure dome/Two tribes and Blur - Park life. A number of other stories are displayed as audio visuals on monitors. These cover such visual/design phenomenon as the evolution of the pop video, the flyer and stage design. Adding another layer of context is a wall of music-generated ephemera - tickets, posters, invites etc. and large-scale panels depicting key dates and events in the history of British music.

Sound Design launched in Tokyo in November 2000 and has travelled to Okaka, Kohura, Manila, Korea, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei, Auckland and will tour around New Zealand till the end of the year.
