Fashion Machine - Argentina

Fashion Machine - Argentina was a series of workshops on trend forecasting and branding taking place in Buenos Aires from the 2 - 5 September 2002.

The workshops responded to the Argentine fashion community's desire to find new ways to communicate their work outside Argentina, building confidence in a burgeoning contemporary design community in the country.

Sense Worldwide's Tom Savigar, Jeremy Brown and Inma Martirez travelled to Buenos Aires to work with students and fashion professionals encouraging them to identify and effectively communicate Argentine trends, both within Argentina and internationally. The workshop resulted in the production of an exhibition, A4 Art, at Buenos Aires Fashion Week. Students produced images of Argentina past and present. A new design magazine has been launched by the students as a result.
