The British Council supported the festival via curatorial advice, visits to the UK and financial support where needed. The UK:KC Festival also included the Royal Ballet, theatre productions by Shared Experience, the Young Vic/RSC, the Almeida, and the Ambassador Theatre Group's Spoonface Steinberg, a solo exhibition of dance photographer Chris Nash and classical music performed by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO).
