The UK is rich in museums, historic buildings and landscape, and British expertise in conserving, managing and developing these assets is recognised worldwide. Cultural heritage is one of the fastest growing sectors. British consultants and organisations work in both traditional and emerging markets, tailoring their skills to meet the requirements of both the country and the project.

Our Creative Industries Unit has actively promoted the expertise of the UK heritage sector through a series of seminars and missions to India and Brazil, in North Africa, and in Central and Eastern Europe. These events have covered themes as diverse as the Public Face of Museums, Cultural Heritage in the 21st Century, Sustainable Tourism and the Re-Use of Historic Buildings.
