The British Council’s Design and Architecture department has announced the 15 winners of its annual student design competition. Their work was exhibited at the British Council office in the heart of Milan during the Milan Furniture Fair. The world’s most significant international design event opened on the 5th April and attracts the most important international design press, furniture and product design buyers, retailers and manufacturers.

The nationwide competition was judged by Tom Dixon, Thorsten Van Elten, and the British Council Design team. This year we have had huge interest in the competition, with nearly 200 entries from colleges and universities around Britain.

These were the wining exhibits:
