Our goal in Armenia is to support economic development and administrative reform in order to build a stable European neighbourhood. We help people to develop skills and institutions to build capacity.

Active citizens

Active Citizens is a British Council programme in the area of intercultural dialogue and global citizenship. The vision of the project is a world in which people recognise their potential and exercise their responsibility to engage with others in the development of their communities at local and international level, that is a world of ‘Global Citizens’. Na/Ne Media Award

Journalists representing printed, online media, TV and radio companies of Armenia as well as independent journalists are eligible to submit their publications to take part in the competition. The published and broadcast publications and their authors may also be nominated by NGOs and individuals. Find out more.
