Course dates

From 7 October to 25 December 2013

How are the online courses organised?

Each of the courses will last approximately 11 weeks, the start and end dates may change slightly and will be fully online. Participants will need to dedicate 4-7 hours per week (at any time convenient to participants, only once a while a group chat with a fixed time may be arranged by tutors).

Each participant is provided with a username and password in order to access the learning zone.  During the course the participants will work through the materials according to a schedule, interacting with each other and led by an online tutor, who will moderate discussions, develop learning points, assess assignments and so on. While the course will be 100% online, there may be one or two optional face to face meetings for participants to discuss technical issues.

How do I know if I am eligible to participate?

All participants must be located in Armenia and must be teachers of English in an educational institution. This could be a state school, private language centre or other similar institution. All participants must also have sufficient knowledge of computers as well as the internet and must have a working email address which they check frequently. All technical issues, such as ensuring access to a computer with a good internet connection, are the responsibility of the participant. If you fulfil these criteria and are interested in one of the courses outlined, we would be happy to receive your application. Please note that we will not accept one participant for more than one course at a time.

How do I apply?

Applicants interested in the course must fill in the application form Download Word document (MS Word 109 KB) and send it by email to Lilit Bekaryan by 21 September, 2013.

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered; it is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that the application is complete. Only selected applicants will be contacted.
