WHY DO I NEED TO TAKE THE IELTS TEST? |
You need to take the IELTS test if you want to study abroad, plan to pursue business opportunities in English speaking countries and intend to emigrate to Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
IELTS assesses and certifies your ability to use English language in multiple contexts. A good score (usually six and above) is an entry requirement for many colleges and universities worldwide. Immigration offices require scores on a range of four to six. IELTS is accepted by most UK, Australian, Canadian and New Zealand academic institutions. In the United States it is increasingly gaining recognition as an alternative to TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
