Writing plays an important role in the cultural life of the UK and Armenia. We work with young and talented UK and Armenian writers and literature students to promote the best of UK new writing.
This March we invited very talented young UK writer Toby Litt to give a creative writing workshop to University students and a roundtable on trends in contemporary British literature with university professors and young writers. As a result university professors are working on including contemporary UK writers such as Muriel Spark, Ian McEwan, Graham Swift, Jeanette Winterson and others in their curriculums. We will also put the short stories that students wrote as a result of the creative writing workshop on our website for you to vote for the best three.
