VOLUNTEERING AND INTERNSHIP SCHEMES

Are you a recent graduate looking for working experience?  Are you interested in gaining work experience in an international organisation and possessing knowledge in various areas?

If the answer is “Yes”, then we are happy to inform you that the British Council in Armenia is looking for bright and motivated people to apply their knowledge and improve their skills working by participating in the volunteering or internship schemes introduced by the British Council.

By joining our team of volunteers you will have the opportunity of getting involved in our projects covering various areas starting from English language and vocational education and ending with the delivery of trainings for women politicians and organising various art events.

Last year students of universities and colleges

How it works?
You send us your CV and letter of interest to jobs@britishcouncil.am, mentioning in your letter whether you are applying for the internship or volunteering scheme, the area of our operation which interests you most and why you are interested in joining the British Council team. Also if you have any special needs please specify in your interest letter. We consider your candidacy and successful applicants are registered in our database.

The database will be reviewed by the British Council team members if assistance is needed and you will be contacted once opportunities come up.

IMPORTANT
If you apply for internship, please note that you have to specify time period and submit Dean’s approval letter together with your CV and letter of interest.

The places for internship are limited. An interview may be required.

When to apply?
There is no specific deadline for the CV and the letter of interest. In order to apply for internship scheme, please be sure to send your application one month in advance before the internship

Additional notes
Please note that all your documents should be in English, therefore basic knowledge of English is a must.

Your personal information will be carefully reviewed and only used to consider your suitability for the volunteering and internship schemes. If you are successful, your CV and letter of interest will be transferred to the relevant project manager who will get in touch with you upon necessity. If you are unsuccessful, the information will be held securely and destroyed in due course.
