The Management Skills Learning programme is a new package of different resources on management skills that are designed to develop your business communication skills.
Our resources are designed to give you practical training in the skills that you need in your work and life. We do this using a practical, interactive, participant-focused training method so that what you get at the end of the programme is not just a file or notes, but a series of memorable learning experiences which will prepare you to approach your work and your career with more confidence.
There are two delivery options. The first one is addressed to companies that want to update their staff skills in areas of management. The British Council Knowledge and Learning Centre can arrange face-to-face training workshops, facilitated by our staff and aimed at carrying out a series of tasks with participants on the course. The purpose of these tasks is to give you realistic and practical training in various aspects of management skills. These tasks lead step by step to the final practice activity, in which you will combine everything you have learned.
Sufficient time is allowed between workshops for participants to access other resources at the centre and remotely. A list of resources to be used is handed out to all participants at the end of each workshop.
If you are a member of the Knowledge and Learning Centre, you can still access the programme individually. You can use the training DVDs in our centre and work with your Self-study Workbook. You receive access to all the other resources through your annual membership.
