If you are an English language teacher or language assistant, we can support your work through various networks and online resources, including professional forums, networks and teaching materials.

We support English Language Teachers in improving the teaching and learning of English in Albania. We do this through our English Language Teachers Association of Albania (ELTA) which helps teachers to share their skills and materials, collaborate on projects and get in touch with schools and publishers.

ELTA is an association which has been active in Albania since 2002. It was founded by a group of dedicated English teachers who saw the need for greater cooperation, integration, and professionalism in the field of English language teaching.
Activities include:

• English teachers and their students taking part on the Project Proposal Writing and Design course.
• ELTA members are involved in the Baseline Study of Education sponsored by the British Council.
• ELTA leaders participate in ELT associations Regional Conferences funded by the British Council.
