As part of The UKSEE Forum, Creative Industries Strand, Albania participants of the Plovdiv Conference in March 2007, decided to enter into a pilot undertaking of a mapping exercise of certain number of the Creative Industry in Albania.

This was decided with certain issues in mind. Firstly, it will be an instrument with which to measure certain developments in some sectors of this industry in Albania, help raise awareness of the benefits that Creative Industries does bring to the country and individuals involved in it, and finally as a possible tool for the government of Albania to use in furthering the legal framework to help maximize the potential outputs that Creative Industries offers.
