Rivers of the World
The British Council, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Thames Festival, has brought a touring outdoor exhibition to the Durban Botanic Gardens called Rivers of the World.

Cape Town book fair
The British Council brought two UK writers to the Cape Town Book Fair in South Africa, a feast of literary events and ideas for all ages. This was an exhibition where publishers, authors, students and readers could share ideas and attain new skills.

IYDEY Award 2009
Congratulations to Given Nkuna the South African 2009 International Design Entrepreneur. Given will travel to London, Belfast and Glasgow to compete against other finalists for the overall award in September. The winner of the Apple Mac book is Lauren Samakosky.
