Would you like to join the many chief executive officers, chief finance officers, directors, and business analysts who qualify with CIMA?

CIMA is an accounting qualification for business.

Becoming a chartered management accountant can accelerate your career and boost your salary. Visit CIMA’s What is management accounting? for more information.

HOW IS CIMA DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FINANCE QUALIFICATIONS?
Most accounting qualifications train you for private practice, working on audit and tax issues. CIMA prepares you for a career in business. It teaches skills for strategic advice, managing risk and making key decisions. Independent research by the Bath University School of Management contrasted the CIMA syllabus and exams with those of eight other bodies. The research found that CIMA's syllabus consistently provides more management accounting, business strategy and financial strategy, compared to other bodies. Compare CIMA with other qualifications.
