The British Council administers exams on behalf of many UK universities and colleges, making distance learning possible around the world. HOW DO I REGISTER?

You need to register for your exam directly with the institution you are enrolled with.

Visit EducationUK for more information on UK Universities and professional bodies.

The institution will decide on the exam dates and times and notify you directly of these. Once you have these dates, then you can book our centre for your exams.

How do I book British Council to be a centre for my exam?

Please download the application form and complete it in detail. Kindly attach correspondence you have had with that institution.

Application form

You need to submit your completed application, deposit slip and payment to Barclays. The British Council will collect your application form directly from Barclays.

Centre Booking fess 550,000 ZMK per exam

Completing the British Council Deposit Slip

In order to assist us in identifying your payment, it is important that you use the correct code on the Deposit Slip. These exam codes are only to be used for the deposit slips.

The exam code should then be followed by your mobile number.

The deposit slip will not be accepted by Barclays without this information. If you are not contacted within 5 working days after date of payment please contact us on +260-965843823 or email us.

WHERE WILL I SIT MY EXAMS?

Exams take place at the British Council in Lusaka. We are located at Aquarius House, along Katima Mulilo road, after arcades round about.

What should I take to the exam?
Exam confirmation from your Exam Board
Identification (NRC, Passport or Driving License)
Pens, pencils in a CLEAR bag
Basic calculator
No electronic devices. e.g. mobile phone, etc
WHEN WILL I GET MY RESULTS?
You will be notified by your exam board.
