Do you want to earn an academic qualification from a leading UK institution? The British Council administers exams on behalf of many UK universities and colleges, making distance learning possible around the world. HOW DO I REGISTER?

Please download, complete and return this application form by scanning and emailing it to exams@britishcouncil.or.ug or by fax to +256 414 254 853 along with your proof of payment.

WHAT ARE THE FEES?
British Council charges a fee for administering your exams and for sending your scripts via courier to your institution. These fees are 275,000 UGX per exam per candidate.
How and where do I pay?

Please refer to the payment details on the application form.

Notice: In addition to the above fee please add 2,500shs as bank charges for each payment made.

Where will I sit my exams?
You will sit your exam at our Kampala exams centre.
What should I take to the exam?
Please bring a valid form of identification such as a drivers license or international passport. Please note: no phones or electronic devices will be allowed into the exam venue. Please put your pens and stationary into a transparent pencil case.
WHEN WILL I GET MY RESULTS?
Most universities will send your results directly to you. University of London results are issued three to four months after the exam is taken and will be sent by courier to you by the relevant British Council office.

what is the refund policy?

Please read our terms and conditions included on the application form and our our cancellation and refund policy. Please note: examinations booked must be cancelled no later than a month before the first exam.

The British Council and the examining boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. We feel sure you will understand, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or retesting at a later date. All fees are valid for the current registration period only and are subject to change. Please check the relevant web pages for the latest fees before registering for the next session of exams.
