HOW DO I REGISTER?

Please download and complete this application form. Ensure you complete your form fully, especially your telephone numbers. This will allow us to contact you if we have any questions about your application.

Indicate the examination body and dates for the examination, sign the application and attach one passport sized photograph.

Submit your application form to the reception desk and pay your fee by either cash or cheque.

Please ensure you keep a copy of your receipt as proof of payment.

Once we have received your application and payment we confirm your registration.

WHAT ARE THE FEES?
The cost of university and professional exams is TZS 165,000 per candidate per paper.
HOW DO I PAY?
You can pay by cash or cheque at the British Council reception desk when you submit your application form.

What should I take to the exam?

Candidates must present photographic ID. The ID should be the same as the one indicated on their application form. Only the following ID is acceptable:

Passport

Driving Licence

Voting Card

Student ID (with photograph)

WHEN WILL I GET MY RESULTS?
Most universities will send your results directly to you.

what is the refund policy?

All examination fees paid are non refundable. We will only consider applications for refunds made on the following grounds:

Medical – hospital admission or serious injury
Loss or bereavement – death of parents, guardian, brother/sister or child
Hardship/trauma – victim of crime, victim of traffic accident
Military service

Applications for refund must be made within 14 days of payment or 7 days before the test date, whichever is the earliest and applications should be addressed to the Examinations Coordinator.

Refund Applications shall attract a 25% administration fee.

Applications for refund must be made in writing and the following documentation attached:

Refund Application Form (available from British Council)
Original receipt
Identification
Other Supporting Documentation (medical certificate, death certificate etc)

The British Council and the examining boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. We feel sure you will understand, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or retesting at a later date. All fees are valid for the current registration period only and are subject to change. Please check the relevant web pages for the latest fees before registering for the next session of exams.
