Teaching Centre

Our Teaching Centre offers general English courses to adult learners as well as IELTS preparation courses. We work with corporates, ministries, donors, the military, police and the public. We are also involved in the Sudan Security & Access to Justice programme which is funded by the DFID. Find out more here.

English

			Go4English: an English language learning website for Arabic speakers.
			English for Policy Makers: a programme that supports language networking, curriculum reform and works with ministries and universities.
			Engaging Teachers: English language capacity building, English Forum and teacher training.
			English for Learners: new radio products for teachers and learners of English that includes Learn English Mobile.

Education & Society

			Connecting Classrooms: our school partnership programme that promotes intercultural dialogue through partnerships between schools in Sudan, the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
			DelPHE: The Development Partners in Higher Education programme funds partnerships between local higher education institutions in Sudan,the UK and around the world. It facilitates global knowledge exchange via joint research studies in poverty reduction and sustainable development.
			Sudan Higher Education Quality Improvement Project: (SHEQuIP) supports links between Sudanese and UK universities focusing on the theme of quality improvement under the Internationalising Higher Education programme. IHE establishes new generation partnership models to develop global knowledge economies.
			Sudan Management Forum: a monthly forum that supports personal and professional development in management and leadership.
			Book Resale: We supply UK books, journals and periodicals to individuals and organisations in Sudan.
			Active Citizens: a community based programme that stimulates active citizenship and involves IDP camp community leaders around Khartoum.
			Premier Skills: a football coaching programme that develops community leaders through an exciting partnership with the English Premier League and the Sudan Football Association.

Arts

			Arts and Development: a project developing the arts scene through training, mentoring and quaterly events in Khartoum to support the development of international festivals in Sudan. To find out more about our Arts work see Creative Enterprise.
			European Film Festival: This festival creates a window to the diversity of European cinema and aims to strengthen the local network of film makers.
