Sudan

The British Council has been working in Sudan for over fifty years. Our office and library were first opened in Khartoum in 1947 and we have worked almost continuously here ever since.

What we offer:
We have a large library including, books, tapes, videos, BBC TV, and information services - full of new technology including the internet.
We seek to provide the Sudanese public with up-to-date knowledge of the English language, education and research, and the arts of the UK.
Our online resources give you an opportunity to access reputable databases and get hold of the latest information.

Take a look through our website to see the various products, services and programmes we offer. You can find out about which UK institutions you can study at in our Study in the UK section, catch up on the latest happenings in our News section and explore the learning and teaching options on offer in our English section.
