Programmes

We focus our activity in three areas of work; intercultural dialogue, UK creative and knowledge economy and climate change. Our work aims to strengthen understanding and trust between and within different cultures, promote the UK as a global centre for education, knowledge, skills and creativity and increase understanding of the case for tackling climate change.

Our priorities are promoting intercultural dialogue and democratic development, supporting professional and creative links between Africa and the U.K. and ensuring Africa is an active player in the global conversation on climate security.

Arts

Bringing the best of the UK and Africa together, our arts programmes span visual arts, drama and dance, music, film, design and architecture, literature and the creative economy.

Science

From climate change to healthy eating, from knowledge partnerships in higher education institutions to online resources - our science programmes cover a wide range of issues.

Culture

Our cultural exchange programmes help lay the foundation for trust and co-operation amongst young people, by creating a space for interaction and debate on issues of culture and identity.

Sport

Connecting youth through sport not only allows for a unique cultural and social learning experience but also fosters future leaders.

Education

Our education programmes network schools and communities from around the globe, create partnerships in higher education institutions and offer professional development specially designed for teachers.
