Nicole Masauli

A familiar voice on Malawian airwaves, Nicole was born on April 17th 1984 and was first introduced to broadcasting at the tender age of eight. She joined FM101 Power as a presenter and producer at 16 in 2000 and Capital Radio Malawi in late 2001. She became Capital Radio's Director of Programmes and later became the Director of Music. She left Capital FM in April of 2007.

In 2003, she was the country co-ordinator of Hip Hop Against Aids, a Voice of America (VoA) youth aids awareness outreach program which encouraged youth involvement in the fight against AIDS and the discrimination people living with AIDS encountered.

With a firm belief that Malawi is a nation of dancers, Nicole has two musical albums to her credit and is currently working on her third.

She is currently studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Counselling with Christian Leadership University (Monroe, Louisiana).

Nicole’s says:
“….Accept trouble and change as an inevitable part of your life. And when it comes, tell yourself the most comforting and liberating of all words: this too shall pass.“
