Are you interested in a career in occupational health and safety?

NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) offers a comprehensive range of globally-recognised qualifications designed to meet the health, safety, environmental and risk management needs of workplaces in both the private and public sectors. 

Courses leading to NEBOSH qualifications attract around 30,000 candidates annually and are offered by over 400 course providers in 80 countries around the world.  NEBOSH qualifications are recognised by the relevant professional membership bodies including the IOSH, the IIRSM and the IEMA.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

The candidates need to fill in an online form from NEBOSH and bring it to the British council together with the bank slip showing evidence of payment and one recent passport photograph with a clear back ground. They will also fill an additional British Council Kenya payment details form.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

If the university advises you to pay directly , the cost per paper for NEBOSH is Kes 7,000/= inclusive of dispatch . However if we invoice the university directly, the cost is £65 per paper.

How and where do I pay?

All payments are made at any Standard Chartered Bank branch. All branches in Nairobi have customised banking slips for The British Council.

Proof of payment must be submitted at the British Council offices before a candidate can sit for any exam.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Requests for refunds must be made at least 5 working days before the exam date. No request made after this will be approved.
We will refund 100% of the dispatch fee for all approved requests except for University of London once the forms have been dispatched.
We charge an administration fee of 20% of the invigilation fees.

Where can I sit my exam?

At the British Council Offices in Nairobi.
