Results are released 13 days after the exam date. The Test Report Forms for candidates who reside outside Nairobi are posted by registered mail. Candidates who reside in Nairobi can collect their reports from British Council office. They are required to bring their ID when they come to collect the results. Reports for candidates who register for the exam at the British Council office in Mombasa will have their reports sent to Mombasa.
Unfortunately results cannot be given over the phone, by fax or e-mail, and we are only allowed to give certificate to each candidate. In addition to the Test Report Form given to the candidate, candidates can request on their application forms (Section 24), that up to 5 copies of the results be sent to receiving institutions. Receiving institutions are local academic institutions (e.g. universities) and overseas institutions that are to view candidate results online. Registered institutions only receive results online; here is a list of registered institutions. Unfortunately we cannot send to local institutions or departments (e.g. immigration agents).
