The Institute of Charted Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is a professional membership organisation, supporting over 138,000 Chartered Accountants around the world. Through their technical knowledge, skills and expertise, they provide insight and leadership to the global accountancy and finance profession.
To become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in Kenya you must first become a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Kenya (ICPAK). ICPAK members must then pass three ICAEW exams and attain a period of work experience with an ICAEW authorised training employer. (Currently, these include Deloitte and Touche, Grant Thorton, PKF, PWC, RSM Ashvor, and Shah Patel and Company). ICEAW exams in Kenya are carried out at the British Council offices in Nairobi.
