* Candidate’s could also request to receive or send Test Result Form (TRF) at no cost to them through the registered mail service of the Ghana Post. The British Council would not be responsible for the delay or otherwise of this service.

			Please pay to the account numbers below depending on the test date you have registered for at any Standard Chartered Bank in Ghana; Do not include the hyphens in your reference number. Payment should be made within two (2) working days after registration. Ensure that the name of the person taking the test puts his/her name on the pay in slip.
			Send a scanned (jpeg/pdf) copy of your passport or voters ID card in colour to ielts.ghana@gh.britishcouncil.org with your test date and name in the subject line.
			Send a copy of your passport or voters ID Card and 2 passport photographs (to be taken without spectacles with a dark colored shirt on a white background) to our offices in Accra (Liberia Road) or Kumasi (Bank road) during your speaking test or on the test date.
			A speaking test date will be sent to the email address and phone numbers provided on the application form after payment is made.

Registration forms are available at our offices in Accra and Kumasi.

Proof of your identity (international passport) which is the same as the identity information you provided on your application form.

Please note: If you do not have the correct identity document you will not be able to take the test.

Make sure you arrive on time so that you have enough time to get comfortable.

Your results will be available online 13 days after your test date.

You may collect your results in person or send someone to collect your results 13 days after the main test date. You must bring along your valid passport and an authorisation letter.

Your results will be available at the Accra Office but you can also arrange for your results to be collected from the Kumasi Office if you submit a request. Please note that we do not automatically mail the IELTS Test Report Form (TRF), and if you wish to receive your results by mail, please apply through the reception of the British Council and pay the relevant fee.

Please note:
Your test results cannot be given to you over the telephone, via e-mail, by fax or letter.

Candidates will receive only one original Test Report Form. This is a valuable document and due care needs to be taken to keep it safe. The form cannot be replaced, photocopied or verified at any point in time.

The IELTS test result is valid for two years only. Universities/organisations may have their own rules regarding the period of validity, so you need to check in each case. In the case of an address change, please contact the British Council immediately. Your identity needs confirmed using an acceptable for of identification (international passport).

If you need to request extra copies of your results (from one month to two years after your test) you will be asked to fill out an application form and pay a mailing charge (administrative fees) plus the relevant country courier charges.
