University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) are the world’s largest provider of international qualifications for 14-19 year olds. 9,000 schools in over 160 countries are part of the Cambridge learning community. British Council Ghana administers CIE in Accra and Kumasi twice a year.

WHAT IS THE IGCSE?
Recognised throughout the world, the IGCSE develops vital educational skills, including recall of knowledge, oral skills, problem solving, initiative, team work and investigative skills. Normally studied over two years with candidates taking the exam at 16, the exams cater for different levels of ability with a choice between core and extended papers in many subjects.
What is the GCE?
The General Certificate of Education (GCE) is one of the most internationally recognised qualifications. You can take this qualification at the Ordinary (O) or the Advanced (A) levels, depending on what you need it for and the course you intend to follow. We advise you to take a preparation course that specifically follows a syllabus if you want to take either of these exams.

Please note that the application form is only valid for the session you are registering for.

How and where do I pay?

Please pay to the following account numbers depending on the qualification you are registering for at any Standard Chartered Bank in Ghana;

CIE A Level 99031...plus last 6 digits of Voters, Passport or Drivers License ID number
CIE O Level 99032...plus last 6 digits of Voters, Passport or Drivers License ID number
CIE IGCSE Private 99036...plus last 6 digits of Voters, Passport or Drivers License ID number
CIE Amendments 99061...plus last 6 digits of Voters, Passport or Drivers License ID number

Payment should be made within two working days after registration. Ensure that the name of the person taking the exams puts his/her name on the pay in slip.
