Purchasing IELTS specimen material together with a CD/DVD
Doing an IELTS workshop/preparation course in our centre facilitated by experienced IELTS examiners
Click on the 'prepare for your test' link to the left to find information about ‘Road to IELTS’ - an exclusive online offer to British Council candidates.

What will happen before the test?
Candidates will receive notification/confirmation when they register
If the speaking test is before the main test date, candidates will be notified by telephone or e-mail.
What should I take to the test?

Proof of your identity which is the same as the identity information you provided on your application form. It must contain a number, a signature, a date of birth and a photograph.

Pens, pencils and erasers which you need for the test.

Please note: If you do not have the correct identity information you will not be able to take the test. Make sure you arrive on time so that you have enough time to get comfortable.

When will I receive my results?

Your results will be ready 13 days after the main test date and you can collect them from our centre. You will be given a band score for each of the four papers as well as an overall band score along with a brief description of your level. The result is valid for two years.

Results will be returned to you as a Test Report Form. There is no pass or fail mark. Scores are given on a band scale of one to nine (with one being a non-user and nine being an expert user of the English language).

Unfortunately results cannot be given over the phone, by fax or email, and we are only allowed to give one certificate to each student.

In addition to the certificate given to the candidate, candidates can request their results be sent to receiving institutions by covering postage costs.

In addition to the actual Test Report Form that will be prepared for you, you can now view your results online. Click here to see your results.
