The Creative Enterprise programme is designed to engage with creative industries professionals in Sub-Saharan Africa. There are several different activities which form the Creative Enterprise programme; please follow the individual links below for more information on the programmes and how to get involved.

Vision
To create an active network of artists and creative entrepreneurs across Sub-Saharan Africa with the professional skills to advance their careers, businesses, and the creative industries sector in their country.

Mission
To help artists and creative entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa foster a growing and sustainable creative sector through a programme of professional development and networking which draws from the best of a decade of experience from the UK.

Activities of the programme
In several countries across the continent, regular WAPi events provide artists, representing a multitude of art forms, with a forum to explore and foster their own freedom of expression through performance and visual arts.

The Creative Enterprise training programme aims to help creative entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa foster a growing and sustainable creative sector through a programme of professional development and networking. Creative Sectors engaged in the programme include; music, design, fashion, film, broadcasting, media (including online), visual arts, publishing, advertising and the performing arts.

The International Young Creative Entrepreneur Awards helps identify and celebrate some of the brightest creative and entrepreneurial talent in Africa, which in turn feeds into WAPI and the Creative Enterprise training programme.
