Connecting Classrooms
Connecting Classrooms allows for intercultural dialogue through three-way partnerships between schools in sub-Saharan Africa and the UK. Each partnership consists of three clusters of three schools, one from the UK and two from African countries. These pages provide you with an introduction to the programme as well as information on how to get your school involved.

 How the funding works
Schools must first register their schools on the SchoolsOnline page. After this they may contact the British Council Office in their country for assistance in finding partners or try it themselves. Each trilateral partnership (involves a partnership of three countries – two African countries and UK). Once in a trilateral partnership the schools can then apply for funding for their joint curriculum project costs. Find out more about how to apply for funding on the SchoolsOnline page.
