Education and Society
Through our work we engage young and influential Cameroonians in different partnerships with both government and non-governmental organizations. We use these partnerships to implement programmes that focus on English language, sport, education, and leadership training.
DelPHE: The Delphe programme was a successful project which was implemented in several countries in the region. It ended in March 2013 and DfiD gave a very good rating. As the programme is now closed, there has been a selection of projects to represent each of the Millennium Development Goals. The selected case studies are from Uganda, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Sudan. The cases show how much can be achieved with a comparatively small amount of funding, partners that are well-matched and lots of enthusiasm and support from staff and students at the institutions who took part in DelPHE to make their projects work. Please view the DelPHE case studies document.
