Elgin High School head teacher Andrew Simpson talked about the importance of maintaining direct cultural links between the UK and Africa.

Inspire Africa hosted its auditions for its new reality television series at the British Council’s WAPI event in Nigeria. The series is a collaboration between a number of partners; including Nigerian media company Inspire Africa and the British Council’s WAPI initiative.

The new International Health Links Funding Scheme will support partnerships between health institutions in the UK and developing countries. The scheme aims to build the capacity of developing countries’ health systems.
