AsiaELT is a regular chat that takes place on Twitter, where English Teachers can talk about the topics that affect them. It’s open to all English Teachers across Asia and is easy to join:
- Simply sign up for a Twitter account if you don’t already have one at www.twitter.com
- Search for @AsiaELT
- Click on the green FOLLOW button
For the chats we recommend you use TweetChat:
- Go to http://tweetchat.com and sign in with your Twitter account details
- Type ‘AsiaELT’ into the ‘Enter hashtag to follow’ box and hit ‘Go’
- You will be directed to a page where you can see the full chat
- You can tweet from this page and your tweets will automatically be included in the conversation.
The discussions will take place on alternate Tuesday, for one hour, twice a day:
- Indonesia/Thailand/Vietnam: 11am and 4pm
- Malaysia/Philippines/Singapore/Taiwan: 12 and 5pm
- Japan/South Korea: 1 and 6pm
