Consultants and Associates (and their teams where applicable), contracting with the British Council are required to observe and adhere to, the following documents (including policies, charters and forms). It is the Consultants or Associates responsibility to familiarise themselves with and adhere to the policies, including the standards, behaviours and principles. You will also find here forms that may need to be completed and returned to the British Council dependant on the nature of the work being undertaken and the instructions given to you by the British Council Manager.
Child Protection Policy
Child protection is specifically about protecting children (under 18’s) from actual or suspected abuse. This policy explains how British Council intend to safeguard the children and young people we work with.

Code of Conduct
This Code brings together some key standards and principles for the behaviour of members of staff, and others acting on the British Council’s behalf. It is designed to protect and enhance British Councils reputation and reflect our values.

As part of British Council contingency measures it is important for us to record next of kin details for everyone who works for us. Completing this form ensures we can contact the relevant people in the event of an emergency.

Pro-forma invoice and expenses claim
This invoice format must be completed and submitted to British Council along with your signed timesheet, receipts, tickets etc to support any fees and reimbursable expenses claimed (as applicable).
