Joint Chevening Awards

The FCO, the British Chevening Scholarships, in partnership with University of Edinburgh is pleased to announce one joint Edinburgh/Chevening award for talented graduates and high-flying young professionals from Russia who are seeking a unique opportunity to study in the UK and acquire new skills and knowledge.

University of Edinburgh founded in 1582 is a renowned centre for teaching and research in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was the sixth university to be established in the British Isles, making it one of the ancient universities of Scotland. The university is also amongst the largest and most prestigious in the United Kingdom and the world.

The award is available on a competitive basis for the one-year programme and is open to the following postgraduate courses:

The terms and conditions of the joint Edinburgh/Chevening scholarship are absolutely identical with those for the core British Chevening Scholarships. The priority subjects, the selection criteria and the selection process are the same. The only thing you should do if applying for the joint Edinburgh/Chevening scholarship is to mark University of Edinburgh and the preferred course as your first choice in the application form in Part D.
