Storytelling by Jan Blake

Once upon a time...

Have you heard of storytelling?

Imagine if Vasily Shuskshin, Mikhail Zoshchenko, Sergei Dovlatov or Yevgeny Grishkovetz had always performed their stories, and each story could have become a song, a little performance, a literary-theatrical event.

Simply speaking, storytelling is the art of telling stories so that you will never go away without listening to the end. It requires active listening. It returns us to our childhood when we were eagerly waiting for the story with a happy ending.

In the framework of the 4th Moscow International Public Book festival Jan Blake, the professional storyteller visited Moscow.

Jan gave 2 performances on June 10 2009 for adult audience in O.G.I. project (Potapovsky side street, 8/12, budling 2) and on June 11 2009 for children in Central House of Artist (Krymski Val, 10).
