Personal MBA collection - starting July 2009 In 2005, Josh Kaufman raised a question – why are MBA programmes in control of the information for the business field? Instead of paying tens of thousands of euros on an MBA programme, you could teach yourselves everything you need to know; you just have to read the right books. On his website, he explains this concept and promotes non-formal education. In order to help those interested, he also published a list of essential readings that help assimilate MBA level knowledge. Today, British Council endorses the Personal MBA concept and offers its readers this book collection, useful to anyone interested in the business field and in personal development. You can gain access to this collection by acquiring a special membership at the library or by adding an extra-option to your Standard or Youth membership. Prepare for the ACCA Qualification with our brand new study guides. |
