We offer a professional knowledge test TKT - Teaching Knowledge Test from the University Cambridge ESOL Examinations which offers teachers an opportunity to deepen their professional knowledge and earn an international qualification.

Win two-weeks in Cambridge!

English language teachers from around the globe are being asked ti write up in 150 words how a teacher development course in Cambridge would benefit them and their students, as part of a competition launched by Cambridge ESOL. The School Sector team at Cambridge ESOL is offering five top prizes of a residential language and methodology course for teachers for the best stories received.

The deadline for submitting your story is 15 January 2010; the winners will be announced on 22 January 2010 and the courses will take place between 18-31 July 2010. Read the full story about this competition here.

SEMINARS FOR TEACHERS WHO PREPARE CANDIDATES FOR THE IELTS TEST AND CAMBRIDGE ESOL EXAMS

			The seminars are organised in cooperation with Cambridge ESOL and are given by well-trained local presenters, selected by Cambridge ESOL and the British Council. The seminars are held at the British Council offices in Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Timisoara, Brasov and Oradea.
			We also offer seminars on demand to any school or language centre in the country on condition that there are at least 10 participants. The seminars are organised every year from October to May and we offer at least one seminar a year for each Cambridge general English, business English and young learners English examinations. CAMBRIDGE ESOL ORAL EXAMINERS

If you are a teacher of English, are you interested in becoming a Cambridge ESOL oral examiner? Check the requirements here.
If you meet the requirements, you are invited to submit your CV, a letter of intention and clear copies of supporting documents such as diplomas and/or certificates to Examinations Services Manager, British Council, Calea Dorobantilor 14, 010572, Bucharest.
Only suitable applicants whose application package is complete with all supporting documents will be contacted by us and invited to attend an OE induction/training sessions at British Council.
