Botswana

Established in 1972, our centre in Gaborone offers a range of courses, exams and workshops that aim to assist in the development of skills and partnerships.

We focus on three strategic regional themes:
helping people develop personally and professionally
working with young people
building trust in UK institutions and promoting UK achievements.

Botswana has developed a national vision, called Vision 2016: Towards Prosperity for All, a statement of where Botswana will be 40 years after independence. We at British Council Botswana focus our efforts to support this vision especially in areas such as the development of education.

Our main areas of focus are:
Exams (IELTS, Academic Exams and Professional Exams)
Professional Development Centre
Management Express Forums
Connecting Classrooms
Take a look through our website to see the various products, services and programmes we offer. You can find out about which UK institutions you can study at in our Study in the UK section, catch up on the latest happenings in our News section and explore the learning and teaching options on offer in our English section.
