The British Council will give a refund if:
- We cannot open a class for you.
- You tell us that you cannot attend a course before it begins.
- You ask for a refund within two weeks of the course’s start date, and you have not attended any classes.
The British Council will also give a refund on the registration fee if we place you at a level for which there is no class.
The British Council will not give a refund:
- If you have attended one class.
- On course books once bought.
- On the placement test fee
If you feel that you should be given a refund in other circumstances (for example, case of serious illness) you can apply for a refund in writing to the Teaching Centre Manager. You should include a letter and documentation to support your claim. The Manager will then decide whether a refund should be granted on a case by case basis. The manager’s decision is final
There is an administration fee of Dhs 200 for refunds. The British Council reserves the right to enforce this at its discretion.
