This instructional film is the first in a series exploring the processes involved in handling valuable and fragile artworks from the British Council Collection.

We see the films as tools to help explain how to look after artworks properly, and why this is important. Although we have a team of art specialists to install our exhibitions, the feedback from our colleagues and partners overseas is that they would like to know more about our practices, so that they are more familiar with the process.

This series of films are specifically about working with the British Council Collection, however we hope they may also help artists and aspiring exhibition organisers to gain an insight into installing exhibitions of visual arts.
